The company, Herbert Oelerich, founded in 1878, is one of the oldest providers of traditional chemical services in Hamburg.

We are the independent link facilitating world wide trading of chemicals and pharmaceutical raw materials. Experience and world wide contacts gained in more than a century of commercial activity have put at our disposal a global network of international agencies and contacts to producers and traders.

Our services include mediation of goods for import and export operations into Europe as well as global transit and cross sales business, for example, from Asia to Africa or South America.

Once we receive your enquiry with product requirement detailing quantity, quality and destination, you will receive from us a competitive offer with product specification and all relevant data such as certificates of analysis, packing details, Material Safety Data Sheets and Standard Compliance Documents (e.g. GMP, DMF, Halal, Kosher, ISO, HACCP Certificates etc.)

A most important aspect of our trading model is that this service is free of charge for the purchaser, our service charges are for the account of the seller.

Once the trade details have been agreed upon we issue a Sales Note which is binding for both the supplier and purchaser and is the basis of the sales/purchase contract.
